What Is Mantra

Mantra is a group of sounds, or a singular sound, that carry specific vibrations and energy. Traditionally, mantras come from languages that are vibrational in nature which enable them to go beyond the conscious mind and connect the one chanting with the vibration of a Higher Consciousness. In other words, the mantras themselves are a means of riding the vibration into higher consciousness.

On a gross level, the  vibration of the mantra penetrates deep into the heart and mind while bringing stillness, tremendous healing energy and balanced consciousness. The movement of the tongue on different parts of the mouth stimulates different areas of the brain and nervous system so that balance and healing can be achieved.

Chanting OM is the most basic, primal sound, and the origin of all  sounds. When we chant we raise the universal vibration and open the door to truth,  authenticity, and connection, and the experience of ourselves as pure awareness and  interconnected oneness, unlocking the human potential.

The science of sound, called Nad, and knowledge of divine Mantra, which means divine  energy, or thought, has the power to significantly raise your vibration above the  conscious mind, purifying, and nourishing our senses, gaining the powers to see more  clearly, attune to our clients and our true nature.

When we chant, our hearts open and we tend to feel more  energized, clear, and compassionate, drawing more grace, ease and healing into our  daily lives.

Mantra Chikitsa (treatment) can be used to treat and heal many ails. For example; if you have karma that you are working with and you are struggling to get through it, Mantra Chikitsa can reorganize the energy patterns and elevate them to create an expedient solution. Not only can mantra be used to clear undesirable life patterns, habits and mental patterns, it can also be used to reboot the organs of the body that are holding onto patterns of illness. Mantras are also used as tools of devotion, meditation and manifestation.

Mantras are one of the simplest and most potent ways for us to support success and vitality in all areas of our lives.
