A day to celebrate the memory of our ancestors, to connect with them through all of the things they enjoyed the most and to show gratitude to them for creating a foundation so that their lineage could thrive. We do this with the creation of an altar, we display their pictures, as well as their favorite food, drinks or objects. This with the intention to fill the room with their essence and feel their loving energy around us. Part of the tradition also includes sharing anecdotes of our favorite memories with them, to remind us that they are always with us if we take the time to remember.
We will start our celebration centering ourselves with a short meditation that will prepare us to set intentions & cheers to life and our ancestors with the taste of a warm cacao superfood drink. Once the cacao opens our hearts for the experience, we will open up our Kirtan devotional chanting as an offering to our ancestors to show gratitude & love. Followed by a sound healing meditation that will elevate and guide us to receive our ancestors love, gifts & guidance.
